Listen to the Voices of the New Generation: "Dialogue with Young People" Now Available – Bridging Generational Gaps

Recently, the youth growth documentary "Conversations with the New Generation" was officially published by Taibai Literature and Art Publishing House. Authored by Li Shaoyi, the first edition was printed in 2026 4, totaling 248 thousand characters in a 16 format. With ample print runs and broad audience reach, this book offers excellent reference value for teenagers, parents, and professionals in education and training institutions.

Written by Li Shaoyi, who previously created "Conversations with Teens (Season 1)," this new work is released four years later. These four years marked a pivotal transition for the author—from high school to university, and from adolescence to young adulthood. Drawing on his own growth experiences, he engaged in extensive, open dialogues with young people and mentors across China. Through these equal conversations, he captures the authentic thoughts of the new generation, offering a complete portrayal of the growth reflections of those born after 00 and 05 in the digital age.

The book is divided into nine core chapters: Growth, Interests, Adolescence, Social Life, Lifelong Learning, Teachers, Family Culture, Four-Power Development, and Confidence Empowerment, comprehensively covering all key issues in the journey of contemporary youth. Breaking away from the didactic style of traditional family education books, it presents a first-person narrative from the youth's perspective to explore real-world challenges such as academic pressure, persistence in interests, interpersonal conflicts, generational cognitive gaps, family dynamics, and self-development. The book argues that in the age of artificial intelligence, exam-oriented learning alone is no longer sufficient for the future; instead, comprehensive soft skills like hands-on practice, empathy, and boundary awareness are essential competencies for young people.

In the author's hands, dialogue becomes a bridge that dissolves barriers. People of different ages and backgrounds exchange perspectives through conversation and truly understand one another. This book is more than a record of personal growth; it serves as a window into contemporary youth, objectively capturing the choices and uncertainties of the new generation amid globalization and the digital wave. The writing is sincere and straightforward, free from rigid theory. It offers both self-reflection from young people and empathy across teacher-student and parent-child relationships, providing valuable insights for readers of all backgrounds.

This book was produced according to standardized editorial and production processes. Liangjun Jing and Yutian Lei served as the editors, with Manqiang Dong overseeing planning and coordination. It was printed by Kede Printing (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. and distributed nationwide through Xinhua Bookstores. The book has completed CIP filing under number 2026BT859, with ISBN 978-7-5513-3377-1. Price: 88 yuan.

Today, parent-child estrangement and communication barriers between teachers and students are widespread social pain points. There is an urgent market need for books that resonate with the authentic inner world of young people. "Dialogue with the New Generation" breaks down generational walls through a peer perspective, offering highly practical content to a vast audience. The book is now available in physical bookstores and on major online platforms. We invite parents, educators, and young readers to discover this book, understand the new generation, and achieve mutual understanding and growth together.
